I continue to see requests for information about the Daylight Saving Time
patches for Sun machines. I also noticed an earlier post to sunmanagers on
the topic had a wrong patch number given. If you are in need of patches for
the Australian DST changes, they have different patch numbers that I've not
given in this message.
Sun has patches out to reflect the DST changes in the US for Solaris 8, 9
and 10. The patches are:
sol8: 109809-02 or later and libc patch 108993-52 or later.
sol9: 113225-03 or later and libc patch 112874-33 or later.
sol10: 122032-01 or later and libc patch 119689-07 or later.
For Solaris 7 and below systems, there are no patches for them.

These required patches (or replacements) ARE in the Recommended patches for
the respective Solaris versions.

Solaris 8
109809-05 and 108993-65
Solaris 9
113225-07 and 112874-37
Solaris 10
122032-03. Patch 119689-07 is obsoleted by 118833-17.
