Hi Managers,
Further to my issue I requested assistance with I am now stuck with a
new problem.
While trying to resolve this issue where the machine will not boot while
both disks are inserted I pressed escape and halted the autoboot
sequence to see if I could change the default boot device from one disk
to the other and lo and behold I am stuck in the Intel configuration
assistant, with no default boot device listed and my only choices are
now CD and NET.
I have tried switching autoboot off, but when I reboot it comes back
on. I seem not to be able to make any permanent changes at all in the
DCA.
I do not have a clue how to move ahead with this, my experience is
limited and this is a crucial machine to our operation.
The system is on a KVM, it makes sending stop/break etc key combinations
impossible as the pause key is used to switch machines on the KVM.
I need to break out of this constant cycle of entering
