Hi,

I'm trying to attach a 300 gb firewire disk to a sunblade 100 with no
luck so far. When I reboot, /var/adm/messages logs the following
entry:

Feb 6 15:00:26 nameofws pcisch: [ID 370704 kern.info] PCI-device:
firewire@5,2, hci13940
Feb 6 15:00:26 nameofws genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] hci13940 is
/pci@8,700000/firewire@5,2

Which means it has found it, but I don't know how to
access/mount/format it ....Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh...I'm running Solaris 8 - see uname -a output below

nameifws# uname -a
SunOS nameofws 5.8 Generic_112953-02 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-1000

Thank you
