Hi all,
I found the following PDF telling how to map hard disk devices and
logical names to slot numbers on my Enterprise 450. However, I can
only get it to work on the first controller. Am I doing something
wrong?
The following is output from a disk on controller 0 and is followed by
blank output from the printconf command on a disk from controller 2.
bash-2.05# ls -l /dev/rdsk | grep /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 45 Jan 31 10:55 c0t0d0s0 ->
../../devices/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0:a,raw
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 45 Jan 31 10:55 c0t0d0s1 ->
../../devices/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0:b,raw
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 45 Jan 31 10:55 c0t0d0s2 ->

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 45 Jan 31 10:55 c0t0d0s3 ->

../../devices/pci@6,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0:g,raw
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 44 Jan 31 10:55 c2t0d0s7 ->
../../devices/pci@6,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0:h,raw
bash-2.05# prtconf -vp |grep /pci@6,4000/scsi@3/disk@0
bash-2.05#
What am I missing? I tried the same process for disk on controller 3
and that doesn't work either.
Thanks,
