Hello All,
Just a general question:
As we all know there are four main types of blocks on a solaris OS (UFS):
Boot block - boot info (sectors 1-15, 1st cylinder group, 1st 8kb)
Superblock - file system info: No of data blocks, inodes, cylinder
groups, block size etc..
inode - stored info about one file
data block - stores data for each file
However, if I have a disk with several slices & therefor several FS,
does each of these have a seperate Superblock? or is there just one
superblock for the entire disk?
Thanks!
Sashah.
