I have a boot disk that Veritas Volume Manager says is failing.

When I try to mirror this drive it can't due to read errors.

Host1# /etc/vx/bin/vxrootmir rootmirror
vxvm:vxplex: ERROR: Volume rootvol, plex rootvol-01, block 10420905:
Plex read:
         Error: Read failure
vxvm:vxplex: ERROR: changing plex rootvol-02:
         Record not in disk group
vxvm:vxplex: ERROR: Attempting to cleanup after failure ...
vxvm:vxassist: ERROR: Could not attach new mirror(s) to volume rootvol

I also tried vxdiskadm and same result.

Is there any other way I can mirror this drive so I can boot off the
rootmirror?
