Password strength PAM module for Solaris? (pre-10)

Does anyone know of a PAM module (yeah, I know that's redundant) for Solaris
(pre-10) for enforcing password strength?
My searches return either extremely old data or Linux modules.
I am not a PAM guru, in fact I've done _very_ little with it (been wanting
to correct that for a while), and Solaris PAM configuration appears quite
different from Linux PAM configuration.
Do any of you know of an active project for such a module?
(I don't have a problem building from source, as long as it doesn't require
rewriting large chunks of the code)
