NFS mount options

Hi,

Can anyone point me towards a Sun document on best practices regarding
NFS mounts? I'm especially looking for something regarding timeo for
nfs mounts with tcp protocol. The default is 600 (60 seconds). I want
to know what the ramifications are of adjusting this down to something
very low; like say 30 (3 seconds). Would that only cause poor
performance or also nfs filesystem integrity problems.

Ideally I'd like to find a Sun doc that specifically says not to set
timeo lower than x for tcp type mounts.

Thanks,
Vic
