Subject: Can't boot from duplicate disc on an E250
I need to replicate an E3000 system onto an E250 (the only machine available
to use) running Sol7
I have cleared and rebuilt the /dev and /devices exntries along with the the
path_to_inst.
But each time I boot from the disc I get the following:
INIT: Cannot create /var/adm/utmp or /var/adm/utmpx
INIT failed write of utmp entry:" "
INIT failed write of utmpx entry:" "
and then I get the option to load arun level ( 0-6 , s or S )
but it doesn't matter what level I choose it just loops around
Has anyone come across this and solved it
