I saw your reply to a post on sunmanager.org and I
thought you could help me.
Ultra 60, solaris 10, cdrom was working at one point.
finished configuring server to run apache and the ssl
mod., the bundled version with solaris 10. Then all
heck broke lose or it seemed. Now the cdrom quit
working or mounting, the last time it seemed to work,
it I could see the files but I could not drag them
over to the hard drive. When I restarted the station,
that was the last I saw of the cdrom. I cant even boot
from it. I ran a probe-scsi on the system and it sees
the dang thing, the dev/dsk see's the c0t6d0s0 - s7
which identifies the cdrom, I have ran the svadm
enable smsever and nothing. I have tried mounting the
thing manually and its telling me its busy or already
mounted.
What the heck is a guy to do from here. Replace the
cdrom?
