E3500 server running solaris 8 (patch level 117350-29)
Installed latest patch cluster, dated 03-Aug. Patch level would become
117350-39
Rebooted and part way through boot, I get a:
b panic[cpu11]/thread=2a10023dd20: mutex_enter: adaptive at high PIL,
lp=10420160b
and server reboots. It just keeps looping round doing this.
Eventually I loaded from cd, mounted the root file system and patchrmbd
the 117350-39 patch.
Made no difference.
Loaded from cd again and patchrmbd all the patched from the cluster I
had put on, and still no difference. Still panics while booting.
Any ideas that could help would be greatly appreciated. I'll of course
summarize for the list.
