V210 memory upgrade problem

Dear Managers,

I am trying to upgrade the RAM of our test V210 server to 8GB. We ordered two
kits of Kingston KTS-V240/4G for this purpose. According to the Kingston web
site, this kit is compatible with the V210/240 servers.
I installed the new 4x2GB RAM modules in place of the existing 4x512MB, and
powered on the server. Unfortunately, after the POST tests, I get the
following error message, after which the server powers itself down:

ERROR: CPU0 DIMM 0 SPD reports DIMM cycle time is less than 133 MHz

Putting back the original RAMs, the system boots fine. After a bit of
troubleshooting, I found on the Kingston page, that the modules with the
KTS-V240 part number can only be used on systems with OBP version lower than
4.11.4. For systems with newer OBP version, a kit with a different part number
should be purchased.

Now I am considering to downgrade my OBP, so that the new RAMs can work in the
server. However, only newer OBP versions are available for download at
SunSolve. My first question is: could someone send me a V210 Flash Prom
upgrade patch with a version earlier than 4.11.4?

I would also appreciate any comments or help, how I could overcome this
problem? Or any points against downgrading the OBP?

Asking the supplier to replace the "old" KTS-V240/4G modules with the newer
part number would be my last option (if it is possible at all).

Thanks,
Tamas
