My sendmail (8.13.6) servers started to deny relay to all outgoing
emails after power failure and system rebooted (Solaris 8) this
morning
Restart sendmail did not help and I even restarted my backup Solaris
system ( I thought it should be clean, afraid of possible system
compromise) did not help.
As soon as I made a /etc/mail/relay-doamins file to add my network,
everything works. BUT I THINK I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS FILE EBFORE. I thought
this file is only for relay those networks I want to relay, not by
default the network itself where sendmail server at.
I built this version back couple month before. Have I forgot what I
did that the /etc/mail/relay-domains must exist. or my system was under
attacked?
