Hi,

Im new to the list as well as with this Solaris administration. This is a bit off topic but appreciate if anyone could share your experience and opinion on the following 2 inquiry of mine:

1. What is the recommended PRINT SERVER brand that works best for line printers, particularly in Printronix Line printer. Solaris 8 environment.

2. Anyone experience how to configure the banner page for Printronix line printer, if yes which brand of print server. I asked this because we tried to configure the HP jet direct print server with this Printronix line printer but to no avail. We tried to mix and match the setup and even download the new drivers (for HP jetdirect) but still can't generate the banner page.
