Could not find the directory of /floppy

Hi,gurus,
I have installed Solaris8(Intel) in my box. But I could not find
the directory of /floppy. After I insert a floppy disk and input
the command "volcheck -v", it tell me media was found. But the
dirctory of /floppy/floppy0 does not exist and I could not access
my floppy disk. Is something wrong with me? What should I do?
