Dear Experts,
I am trying to configure HP jet direct in solaris 8, i did following steps.
1. spooler administration
2. Add printer to local spooler
3. enter the network printer name ( using the name hp800ps , its listed in
/etc/hosts as well )
4.Select printer model from the existing Printer list (using HP Plotter
not given in this list)
5. lp destination queue name ( i defined queue name hp800ps)
6 additional printer configuration
7. model script ( i selected this one net_dsnj )
8. 0 to configure it.
after that , when i try to modify or delte from the menu it says no hp
printer is configured.
any clue or idea , wat steps should i do to remove this error.
