Sun servers and Hitachi AMS200 SAN experinces

Folks -

I'm working with several V480 servers (Solaris 9, 9/04) using several direct
attached Sun T3+ arrays with good luck, and good performance. We let the
mirroring take place in the array, and use mpxio for multipathing. No SMV or
Veritas in use presently. In its present configuration, the server and T3+
have been quite stable.

We will soon run out of space, and have to consider other arrays to meet
anticipated storage growth, plus possibly add some features available in the
newer arrays, and possibly let some MS servers share space on the array.

Has anyone had any experiences with Hitachi's AMS200 line? I haven't found
much in public forums about this array on Sun boxes. If you've used these
arrays:

* Was reliability a problem?
* Was Hitachi's support decent, with lack of "finger pointing" when
resolving problems?
* Did you have trouble getting support that was familiar with this
product in the Solaris environment?
* What HBA and switch did you use, and did you have any problems?
* Any "gotchas" you've experienced?

Thanks - I'll be sure to summarize.
