I'm having problems getting sshd to start up on a ne Ultra 40 with Solaris
10 AMD64.
I've (I think) figured out the service admin facility commands that
_should_ start it up. But when I look in
/var/svc/log/network-ssh:default.log I see:
[ Feb 24 20:21:22 Method "start" exited with status 1 ]
[ Feb 24 20:21:22 Executing start method ("/lib/svc/method/sshd start") ]
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key
Disabling protocol version 2. Could not load hostkey or GSS-API mechanisms
sshd: no hostkeys available -- exiting.
But these fiels do seem to be there:
root@amanda # ls -l /etc/ssh*
total 196
-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys 88301 Jan 21 2005 moduli
-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys 861 Dec 8 10:55 ssh_config
-rw------- 1 root root 672 Feb 15 15:21 ssh_host_dsa_key
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 602 Feb 15 15:21 ssh_host_dsa_key.pub
-rw------- 1 root root 887 Feb 15 15:21 ssh_host_rsa_key
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 222 Feb 15 15:21 ssh_host_rsa_key.pub
-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys 5203 Dec 8 11:09 sshd_config

Could it be a permissions problem?
