Dear managers,

I am trying to upgrade my server from Solaris 8 to Solaris
9 using Jumpstart unattended upgradation. I am using following sysidcfg file:
----SYSIDCFG FILE-----
system_locale=en_US
timezone=US/Central
timeserver=localhost
network_interface=primary {netmask=255.255.0.0
protocol_ipv6=no}
terminal=dtterm
security_policy=NONE
name_service=NONE
root_password=llmdawasd

--------PROFILE--------
install_type upgrade
root_device c0t1d0s1

The problem I am facing is when I am giving "boot
net - upgrade" or "boot net - install" the client comes to interactive mode
and is asking for :
1. Default route
2. Power management
3. Proxy server
configuration

I just removed all power management packages from my original
Solaris 8 OS also. But still no difference. I have unencapsulated root disk as
well from VxVM.

Could you please give me pointer as to what is going wrong in
the above sysidcfg or profile file.

regards,
Sun Admin
