Hi , Managers
Does anybody have a good step-by-step procedure on how to
effectively secure a Solaris 9 OS?
I'm creating one for my internal server
with Solaris 9 OS ,
I basically want to do something to tight the security
holes if any
1) Disable the unwanted process ( my server is DB server)
2)
Close un-required ports ( FTP,TELNET, bla bla)
3) Configure the TCP wrapper
4) Important File permission
Above things should be reversible , so incase I
want to revoke the stuff it will be possible by running revoke script
If
anybody have this kind of script available please share it
Thanks and
regards
Punit
