[SOLUTION]Re: Encapsulation problems on Solaris 8 VxVM 4.1

Hi all, we've fixed the problem. It was a bad link in /dev/cfg.

The boot disk that VxVM recognized was c7t10d0, but from the output format I
only saw a c1t10d0. So the vfstab "device mount" and "device to fsck" aimed to
/dev/dsk/c1t10d0sX.

In /dev/cfg the c7 and c1 has the same link to the same device, so the
solution was:
# cd /dev/cfg
# rm c1
# devfsadm -C
# vi /etc/vfstab -> change from c1 to c7
# init 6

After that all worked!

ciao ciao
