-lF77 not found problem

Hi,

Interesting things happening with the link of the fortran library libF77

During compilation linker gives an error message

"ld: fatal error. -lF77 library not found"

I have fortran library somewhere and the path to it

is included in LD_LIBRARY_PATH and I also specify it

with -L flag, too but again it keeps giving the same

error message. Is it because it wants a statick library?

If yes, I have gcc and native compiler installed (on sun solaris, sparc)

but no static library came with those compilers it looks.

I did a search an found no statci fortran library.

If this is the problem does anyone know where I can get this

static fortran library (libF77.a)

Thanks

Hakan
