Solaris 10 - Containers, SAN, VCS ...

   Hello,

First question: I know that Solaris 10 can be installed with containers - connected to SAN. However we have heard that if new disks are presented or if disks are removed from the box, the changes in device files (done via devfsadm) won't be visible to the containers unless we reboot the containers. Correct me if I am wrong and if anybody have any workarounds, would appreciate a reply.

Second question: Do you know if Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) is supported in a Solaris 10 box implemented with Containers? If so, how have you implemented it? Do you install VCS in every container or in the global container?

I will summarize the responses back.

    Thanks.

    SG
