Good Morning managers
Is there any fine tune list that I need to consider
when we use Solaris Disk Suite Volume manager ? Is there any Method available
( command or any shell script ) which will show me the Storage read/write
Performance ?
As I have D1000 Storage Box which is attached to
the Sun 4500 ( 4 CPU, 8 GB RAM, No Local HDD) it boots from Storage Directly.
Now I can see that Performance is not so good because when I try to start
JBOSS Application Server ( J2EE App. Server ) on Linux Machine it to start the
Server Takes 2 Min ( 120 Sec) where as on this Sun 4500 it takes around 5 Min
( 300 Sec)
Any Possible method by which I can cross check the performance ?
any system level Parameter I need to Tune which will help me to get a proper
performance and max utilization of the server resources ?
