Greetings All,

I am getting following error when i do a telnet to a SUN E 450 machine
from windows or any HP-UX machine. If I do it from a Solaris machine it's
working. To this machine I applied the 9_Recommended Patch .It was
working fine even after applying the patch.I am getting the same error
when I do traceroute from this machine to any non Solaris OS.

ld.so.1: in.telnetd: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/lib/nss_dns.so.1: symbol res_gethostbyaddr: referenced symbol not
found
Connection closed by foreign host.

uname -a
SunOS xxxxx 5.9 Generic_118558-16 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4.

Please advice me on this, how to solve this.

Thanks & Regards
Rajeev Andrews
