Hi there,
I am trying to install Patch Manager 2.0 on a bunch of Solaris 9 servers.
It works for most but I have one system that has 112945-33 installed
and of course Patch Manager hates this patch.
I tried to patchrm it but:
> pkg 237# patchrm 112945-33
>
> Checking installed patches...

> Patch 112945-33 was installed without backing up the original files.

Can someone please tell me how to rid myself of the evil 112945-33 so
I can install smpatch? There must be a way to trick the system
into removing this patch, so I can downrev it?
FYI, I did it on another system (after patchrm failed) by adding
back 112945-33 and then it successfully did the patchrm, but it doesn't
work on my problem system.
Thanks.....
