Hi Gurus,

I have A1000 with 12 Disks attached to E3500 running Solaris 8. The
disks are in RAID 5 with one Hot Spare configured with Raid Manager
6.22. Recently one Disk failed and Hot Spare kicked off. Currently one
Disk has failed and Running with Hot Spare. Today I replaced the failed
disk with new one. As per the procedure the replaced drive should sync
the data and Hot Spare should return back to Standby status but its not
happening. It still shows "Hot Spare" in Use. The failed drive is [1,0]
which has been replaced by Hot Spare [2,5]

# ./healthck -a

Health Check Summary Information

sccpdb03: LUN - Hot Spare In Use at Drive [1,0]

healthck succeeded!

Even GUI shows "Hot Spare in Use"

If I go to Recovery -> options -> Manual Recovery -> drives. It shows
drive [1,0] Failed not syncing at all. The drive which I replaced is New
one.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Best Regards

B
