Hello list,
I recently expanded a 16 disk external RAID unit from a 1x8 disk array
to have 2x8 disk raid arrays. After googling around, I figured out why I
could only see the first raid array and modified /kernel/drv/sd.conf to
add
name="sd" class="scsi" class_prop="atapi"
target=3 lun=1;
Then running "devfsadm" and "update_drv -f sd" allowed both LUN's to be
usable.
After a reconfigure boot this weekend, both external arrays had
disappeared and I had to manually run devfsadm and update_drv for
Solaris to see them, I reboot'ed a 2nd time and same problem again.
Any idea's what im doing wrong and how to make the settings survive a
reboot.
Thanks
Dean Plant
