I am doing some evaluation on the smartcards with Blade 100
workstations, and I was wondering if there was a way to detach the login
session when a user pulls out their card? I have heard about doing this
on sun ray appliances, but I have not been able to find a way to do this
on a blade..
Most of the machines are in a lab setting, where users may leave for
hours, but need to keep their processes running foreground (Cadence
simulations... etc..). So, even if they cannot move their detached
sessions between computers, just the ability to walk away for hours, and
allow someone else to use the machine, while not loosing their active
applications is a great benefit.
