Hello All,
Probably a very easy question for some of you...
I have been given to setup 2 x v490s and 2 x 3310 storage arrays with 1
RAID controller each, but not much information on how exactly to set them
up.
The 490's will be clustered (SC 3.1) and the 2 3310s will be shared between
them. One 3310 should be a mirror of the other.
Although they come with a single RAID controller, is it not a JBOD
configuration that I want? - the mirroring between the 3310's done with
SVM/disksuite.
Is a JBOD possible without a special JBOD unit?
or is it just a matter of not using the Raid controller?
Or do I have to remove the RAID controller?
Is it possible to use the 3310 controllers to mirror to the other 3310?
Should I use single bus or split/dual bus?
