Hello everyone!
I wanted to get some feedback on the best hardware/software solutions
for backups.
arbitrated loop (FC-AL)
LTO-2 (linear tape-open) 200GB Native/400GB Compressed storage capacity
Max Througput ???? 216GB/hr
I need something that can do a full backup of 4TB and can grow... maybe
to 10TB
What does everyone think the best LTO-2 tape library would be? Should it
have to 2 drives because of the size of data?
3 servers are attached to a clarion cx300, should I attach another
server with the LTO-2 attached?
Or should I have the servers attached to the LTO-2 hardware?
What software do you think would be best? Simple backups of files, not
integration with Oracle, etc..
2 SUN servers and 1 Windows server.
