Thanks to all to helped me on this.
Whiat i did was: I just shutdown the
server & replace the faulty HDD & then I run "vxdctl enable" so that veritas
recognise the new HDD then I run vxdiskadm & then select option 4 & then
option 5.

this was the process to replace the HDD.
