FC 3510 Disk array / HBA not showing up

I installed a Sun StorEdge 2Gb PCI single fibre channel network adapter(6767a) on a Sunfire v880 server. The server has 6 internal FC drives. I attached a FC3510 Disk array (12x145gb) using DAS topology. The server has solaris 8 2/04 and 8_recommended patch cluster. I installed the required patches and packages for hba as specified in the release notes. I did a reboot -r ,devfsadm, disks. However, the hba is not reference when I do a dmesg and when I issue a format command the disk array is not showing up. The luxadm probe show only the internal enclosure FBCL.
 
Could someone assist
