Hi all,

I installed solaris 9 on sunfir v240 and system is up and running and
recently we installed Network and systems Managemnt software by
CA(unicentre) to monitor server. My Network monitoring team is saying
on this particular server snmp is not working and its not able to send
messages to the server.
The output of ps -ef | grep snmp is as follows
ps -ef | grep snmp
    root 25704 1 0 Aug 18 ? 0:00 /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx -y
-c /etc/snmp/conf
    root 25696 1 0 Aug 18 ? 0:00 /usr/lib/dmi/snmpXdmid
-s usxsl044
    root 22959 22661 0 19:50:50 pts/4 0:00 grep snmp

How to configure snmp so that the system can send messages to the server.
Please help me in configuring snmp.
I will post the summary
Thanks in advance

Eswar
