I am on' a p'roject involving Netra240 and StorEdge 3120 I've done the installation to the point of adding disk groups but there is an error i keep getting. Firstly ,let me give you a good picture of the implementation. It involves deploying 2 Netra 240 minicomputers as a dual system for the HLR HDB/HDU.This is integrated with two diskarrays(StorEdge 3310).

The available disks i have now having gone this far is on host1 for exmple is:

root@hwhlr-ph1 # format
Searching for disks...done

Also looking at the /dev/dsk directory, i discovered that there are 4 controllers -C0,C1,C2,C3 and the corresponding targets are:
Controller0: c0t0d*
Controller1: c1t8d* ,c1t9d*,c1t10d*,c1t11d*,c1t12d*
Controller2: c2t8d* ,c2t9d*,c2t10d*,c2t11d*,c2t12d*
Controller3: c3t0d*,c3t1d*

I have already installed sun cluster and Volume manager and the 2 hosts are both online when i run the command scstat|more. The 2 disks used to set up the quorum are also highlighted below(number 2)

According to the installation manual i'm using states that

Number
of HDs Raid mode Command line
5 1+0 ./crtvol -g datadg create -d
                                     c2t9d0,c2t10d0,c2t11d0,c2t
                                  12d0 -h c2t13d0 -s 1000 -c
                                    50

5 1+0 ./crtvol -g datadg create -d
                                 c3t9d0,c3t10d0,c3t11d0,c3t
                                12d0 -h c3t13d0 -s 1000 -c
                                 50

.
Since we used c2 to set up the quorum, the first one is applicable but it gives giving us the error that c2t13d0 does not exist. This is supposed to be the hotspare.
Can you pls advise what i can do and wich disk from the available disks that can be selected as the hotspare.

Your swift responce is most appreciated.
