Hello,
I inherited a E450 running Solaris 2.6 which for some reason refuses to
show informations about disk slots above slot#11. This machine definetely
has a disk in each of the 20 Slots, all in use.
Now I need to replace 2 disks and have no idea how to convince prtconf to
show me in which of the remaining 8 slots these were installed.
Since the disks to be replaced are healthy, I could run a dd on them and
pull the ones with the activity LED constantly on, but I would strongly
prefer to fix this situation permanently. If a disk would die in one of
the uncharted slots, I'd be in serious trouble.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
Helmut
