Hi

I am being told when issuing comands "no such device or address" and I am
getting the following error in /var/adm/messages:

unix: WARNING: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/dad@0,0(dad0):
Transport rejected(-2)

unix: WARNING: /pc1@1f, 0/pci@1,1/ide@3(ata):
timeout about request, target=0 lun=0

After a reboot everything is ok for a short while and then the problem
reappears.Presumably this indicates a hardware fault on the disk, but my
question is "is this a recoverable situation?" will a fsck fix this or is the
disk on its last legs?

Kevin
