I have an e450 running solaris 8 and the default FTP server. Normally
it functions fine, however, occasionally it will refuse to authenticate
anyone. I can SSH in as a given user, but the same user cannot ftp in.
Restarting inetsvc does not fix the problem, but rebooting the machine
does. Of course, I'd rather find a way to fix this problem instead of
rebooting it every time. Has anyone else had this problem or have an
idea on where to start. I will summerize my findings and hopefully save
someone else from having to pull their hair out over the same issue.
