using a Sun box as a terminal for Solaris install

Good day all! Im in a bit of a jam, and I cant find the answer on the web,
so I went to where the Sun experts hang out. Coming from Linux, I got real
used to a tool called Minicom. I recently set up a solaris 8 server at a
client 4 hours away, using my linux laptop and minicom as the terminal.
They liked so much they want me to come down and do another one. I'm trying
to save myself the trip.

I have ssh access to the recently built server and I had them connect the
new box to the recently built box ttyA to ttyA with a null cable. Is there
a compareable program to minicom like tip or cu that I can use to get
console access to the new server? Has anyone run minicom on Solaris 8? I
didn't see the binary on sunfreeware, and the minicom page says nothing
about running on Solaris. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
