Thanks to all who responded.
My requirement is to read Oracle backup files of Production (SystemA) from
development (SystemB).
I have got quite a number of suggestions including
1. Cluster file system like Veritas -- We would not like to spend
$$$ for this purpose
2. NFS -- Cannot use this as SystemA is in secured environment
3. Private IP network -- Might cause some security issues
4. QFS -- Not sure
5. SamFS -- Mentions availability with Soalris9. Our system is still
on 2.6. Mostly might be upgraded to Solaris8.
Most responses did mention that this is not possible through UFS.
