NSCD version

How can you tell which version of nscd you are running? On one of my
solaris 9 machines, nscd just keeps restarting with the following
output from a truss -p

/45: time() = 1118417796
/44: door_return(0xFC5F9DE8, 110, 0x00000000, 0) = 0
/2: door_return(0xFF079DE8, 110, 0x00000000, 0) = 0
/1: Received signal #13, SIGPIPE, in pause() [default]
/1: pause() Err#4 EINTR

Sometimes the service restarts a few times in a row, sometimes just
once and also needs to be manually restarted. My only thought is to
update nscd but I cannot even be sure which version I am running.

thanks,
