I'm wanting to clone or replicate "server1" to "server2".
I have a few things in place, using scp & rsync...but it's not really doing
the job I need it to do...
Ideally, I'd like to patch or upgrade server#1 including
Oracle updates
OS patches
Modules or 3rd party program installs
PERL
Apache...etc.
Then, run a script that propagates all changes to server #2.
Server #2 is a "test" server - and whatever changes that were made on server
#2 before this "propagation" would be erased...except everything in a folder
like:
/Save_Changes
...and other things - like it's server name...static IP address (etc) to
avoid conflicts on the network.
Suggestions?
