dear sir
i need one help from you
my IT setup is 4nos sun fire 250 server with solaris9
one is for digital library
one is for database server
one is idle & last one is for sun ray server
i configured sun ray server & 45 thin client in last mechine
when the all 45 client is login that mechine it giving very slow responce
(hardware specification
2 GB RAM
80 GB HDD(2 mirrored)
dual processor)
i increased the swap space - no improvement
i increased the memory - no improvement
update the patches also
no application is running on that mechine ,only sunray.
the cliend is using that mechine for only internet browsing & searching .
after that i was separate the thin client 24 is for one and 21 is for another(idle).not a subnetwork same net work only.
then its performance 10% improved
first start the service on one server and power on the 24 client
after that start the service on next server and power on the second mechine
that was i did my site
i think its is not a right solution.
please give me a correct solution
why its slow it is any network traffic is there
or any loadblance technic is there or not
how we monitor the system speed.
how i improve the system performance
maximum how many thin client we can add that sun fire 250 m/c(which i mentioned the hardware specification)
