Hey folks,
Our Sun Fire V880 has Solaris 9 09/04 with an XVR-4000
Graphics Card. It will
be used for VR Modelling and generating high resolution
maps. Does anyone know of any test software to put it
through just to see how powerful itis?
We haven't really used it much and I would like to see it's
full
potential so we could show/impress potential clients.
Also I don't think we have the best setup for the server.
Due to
location and network restrictions we have a Sun 24" LCD
monitor hooked straight into the server. Is this the best
method or should I just use a Blade for the 24" monitor and
remotely connect to the server?
If anybody has any experience in these areas I'll be happy
to hear from you. Will summarise.
