Downloaded source code from nagios.org and compiled it using below options....

#./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin --wi th-htmurl=/nagios/ --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-grp=nagios --with-com mand-group=nagcmd --with-perlcache --enable-embedded-perl --with-gd-inc=/usr/loc al/include --with-gd-lib=/usr/local/lib #make all #make install

Did you grab a pre-compiled binary from the 'net ? If so I would scrap that one you got,

1) Either grab the source and get it yourself

or

2) You might try the pkg-get blastwave.org repository as I know that works and monitor quite a few systems with it.
