Hi all,
I've got IBM's tivoli storage manager as new backup software. Unfortunatly
tsm uses his own mt driver for the tapedrives. Because of this, iostat can
not see the tape drives. I have found now way to directly monitor the IO of
the tape drives. According to SUN these drivers have no interface to the
kernel and therefore iostat can not collect data. From IBM I have got no
answer.
Has anyone encountered this problem before or are there tools to work
around this.
