X25 does not show bge devices

Hi Folks
 
I am trying to setup X25 over the LAn using x25tool on Sun solaris 8 on Sun V240 with bge quad port.
When I choose LAN as the device, I do not bge as an option for my device
I can see hme qfe etc ..
