Anyone know of a guide for svcadm? We jumped from
Solaris 8 to Solaris 10 and I'm trying to start some
services with svcadm. One particular service says
it's online but it's not.
I'm really looking for a troubleshooting guide. Or
perhaps some options to make the command more
verbose--"-v" doesn't help much.
svcadm -v enable network/dns/server
svc:/network/dns/server:default enabled
Starting named (or in.named, they're symlinked)
manually works fine. Using the services just doesn't
work.
Thanks,
-Ed.
