Hello everybody.
I have been facing a problem with 2 SUN machines during the boot time
(the one is SUN FIRE 280R and the other SUN Ultra Enterprise 450).
To be precise when the system boots, I am given the following warning
errors:
Feb 7 16:39:12 iason genunix: [ID 115966 kern.warning] WARNING:
add_spec: No major number for ifp
Feb 7 16:39:12 iason genunix: [ID 115966 kern.warning] WARNING:
add_spec: No major number for atata
As a result, on 280R machine the system comes up with keyboard error and
on Ultra machine I am given a framebuffer error !!
The only thing I did was to patch the system with Sol 9 Recommended
cluster.
Does anybody have any idea???
I do not want to go in system reformatting....
