Hi,
We're envisaging the usage of several Sun Fire Blade 100s mounted in the
Sun Fire B1600 system chassis.
I'm wondering about the real capacities of such servers, especially when
used with this Grid stuff. What can we expect from these clustered single
cpu computers. Ok, maybe load balancing can be efficiently implemented for
a web server, but how about a database, shared memory, etc. Also would the
1Gb/s ethernet eat lots of cpu resources or is the hardware optimized. Etc....
Ok, I can read a lot of documentation and ads from Sun, but real users
experience is by for more useful!
So, if you got anything you're willing to comment on, bad experiences, etc,
please share!
